Golf 101 is for anyone who has always talked about taking up the great game of golf, but always comes up with reasons not to start. It could be cost, time, intimidation factor, weather, work, and family obligations. Golf 101 is a beginner or refresher program with a proven success rate for over 20 years. Like other golf lesson programs, you will learn the proper basics and mechanics of the golf swing. Unlike other beginner golf programs, we will also focus on eliminating many of the reasons people have avoided taking up golf.
Some of the golf fundamentals we will focus on include:
- Grip, set-up, posture
- Chipping and putting
- Iron play
- Driver, fairway woods, and hybrids
- On-course strategies
Important aspects of golf we will help you learn include:
- Making a tee time reservation
- Where to set your clubs at the pro shop
- Proper golf attire
- Everything you need to know to be successful at your company’s annual golf tournament
- Important Golf Etiquette and the Basic Rules of Golf; Local, USGA and R&A
- Safe & Proper Golf Cart operation
- Proper ways of filling divots, raking bunkers, and fixing ball marks on greens
- What should you do when you’re at the first tee box and 20 other golfers are watching you
- What do you need to do if another group of golfers are constantly hitting up next to you and are giving you angry looks
- You will learn all of the golf lingo you need to know to be successful
- We will do everything we can to take the intimidation factor out of the game
Golf 101 includes:
- Six 1-hour group lessons
- You will get Free use of the Driving range for the 6-week duration of the program
- Free use of rental clubs for the duration of the program
- Play and ride Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course any day for the duration of the program after 5:00 p.m. for $15 per player for a single cart and only $10 per player for a shared cart
- 1 voucher for a free round of golf at Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course
The cost for this 6-week program is only $99 per applicant, limited to the first 10 participants per class. Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. with the first classes scheduled to start on Tuesday, May 31st and Saturday, June 4th.
