CITY OF KINGMAN DRAINAGE MASTER STUDY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The City of Kingman has entered into a contract with JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc. to develop a Kingman Area Drainage Master Study (KADMS). The objective of the study is to identify the primary drainage and flooding problems within and adjacent to the City and provide recommendations for drainage solutions. A formal Kingman Area Drainage Master Study will provide guidance in budgeting for future drainage projects, help the City obtain grants and other potential funding sources to construct drainage projects and determine an approach for resolving City wide drainage issues and upgrades to the community.
The purpose of the public meeting is to provide an overview of the KADMS, identify citizen drainage issues and provide information on the current City drainage conditions. All public input is welcome and will be considered as the study is finalized.
Exhibits showing aerial photography of the existing drainage system and identified drainage issues will be presented at the meeting. Representatives from the City of Kingman and the design team will be available to answer individual questions. Comment forms will be handed out to all attendee’s to document any storm drainage issues experienced by the residents of the community.
