A full street closure will be required for the construction of sidewalk ramps at both the west and the east intersections of South 8^th Street and Andy Devine Avenue. The closure will be in effect Wednesday morning, March 20. South 8^th St. is anticipated to remain closed until Wednesday, April 3. A detour route around the construction zone will be provided to motorists and pedestrians.

A full street closure of North 9^th Street will be required for paving operations Thursday morning, March 21. North 9^th St. from Beale St. to Andy Devine Ave. will be closed to thru traffic all day Thursday, but will reopen to traffic Friday morning March 22. 

The city urges the public to use caution when driving or walking within the construction zone. Drivers should expect lane and road closures and slower speeds within the construction zones. Businesses will remain open and accessible throughout this phase of construction.  

Project completion is slated for Spring 2019.
